About QWOP

You are Qwop, your small nation's only athlete at the Olympic Games. Q and W move the thighs, O and P move the calves, and your job is to get those legs working together well enough to run 100 metres.

Most first tries end face-down after a few centimetres, and that is the joke. Finding a rhythm that actually moves you forward feels like a real victory, and finishing the full 100 metres is something to brag about.

QWOP was made by Bennett Foddy in 2008 and is one of the best-known games of the early web.

You need a keyboard to play, and when your runner falls over you can start again straight away. Short attempts are part of the fun.
